The Marktmusikkapelle Seewalchen will be part of the marching show on Thursday, the 15th of July during the Long Night!

The band performing at the International Wipptaler Wind Music Days in Sterzing/Südtirol

The Marktmusikkapelle Seewalchen exists since 1880 and celebrated in 2005 her 125-year-old continuance jubilee. In 1954 the band was anew fitted out, the colour and form of the national costume is felt of the raftsman's national costume from the time about 1790 of the Attersee – raftsman.
The band encloses 58 active musicians (inside), of it 13 female and 5 sutlers. The organizational management is incumbent upon the representative Herbert Ehrnleitner,
musical one to the bandmaster engineer Roland Pachinger and for the correct march appearance provides stick leader Stefan Zirwig, who is also district stick leader of the districtVöcklabruck.
Particularly the results are to be emphasised in the show to competitions. During the international music days IMT 2005 in Vöcklabruck in the category „Music in movement with show part“ and with the IMT 2007 in the category "Show" could win the MMK a wind stick.
In 2008 the MKK became the deputy-land masters im music in movement with show part in Ried im Innkreis.
Also by the district march assessments could bring the MMK-Seewalchen during the last years always an excellent success in the highest assessment (step E) home. In the years 2008 and 2009 the band could register even the highest point number of the Upper Austria for itself.
