The Hoagascht Musi from Carinthia will entertain our audience on Thursday, the 15 of July during the Long Nigh of Music! In addition to this they will do a concert for the Ennstal-Classic audience on Friday, 16th of July!

Now it is approx. 6 years that far ago that the "Hoagåscht-Musi" from Carinthia-Salzburg-Styria has appeared with each other in this occupation still within the scope of the presence service with the military marches Carinthia. Since there eight young fellows have met in 2002 since by chance by the Austrian federal army and decided to present the folk music of the land to your audience exemplarily and exactly and to reveal. Not only the perfection is to you an important factor of their music and appearance, but rather the musicians of "Hoagåscht-Musi" lay Carinthia a lot of value on the respect with your audience from city and land. Eight musicians come from three different federal states of Austria, Salzburg-Styria-Carinthia.
The name "Hoagåscht" is typical for your occupation and describes at the same time the activities and predilections of the certified musicians. All year round 8 fellows on various alpine huts meet and let real folk music with party mood revive so properly. Famous composers, like Gottlieb Weissbacher, Sepp Hutter, Karl Safaric and Florian Pedarnig, determine mainly the music presentations of "Hoagåscht-Musi" Carinthia. But also this new folk music group has already specially composed pieces in theier repertoire.
The musical leader of this group is Stefan Wagger who has written especially for a folk music competition in 2004 in Innsbruck a waltz, namely "Hoagåscht Walzer" especially for the little Alpine country broads. With this own composition the predicate "Ausgezeichnet" was lent to "Hoagåscht-Musi".
